Thanks everyone. Bought some iso propanol off eBay for a few quid and wiped the alarms and receiver down last night. Took a while to do but the result is amazing. No more sticky alarms and they look so much better!👍

What did you think the vibration setting was for? 😱
The degradation of coating, I had this on one of my ancient cameras (EOS 300D) and a GoPro battery charger. On both, I used some of my excess bottles of hand sanitiser from COVID times, was glad to get shot of some of it.
I let it sit on it for a second or three, then wipe off with a cloth that's got an element of 'coarseness' to it. Baby wipes will work, but aren't quite rough enough to drag the sticky rubber off as easily so it becomes a more tiresome task.
They are quite good for cleaning up at the end and removing some of the sanitiser smell though

Those new Delkims have rubberised cases dont they ,hmmmmm....that would put me off buying them for future reference..
Atts I owned briefly did the sticky thing as did the fox Mmxr reciever aerial...I tried meths and other stuff....got rid !

Why on earth would an alarm need to be soft feel?
Where are they being put?
Is the round profile finally explained?

My Attx receiver did the same, I cleaned it off with meths to cure it and it hasn't happened again a few years afterwards

My Nash R4 alarms and receiver seem to now have a sticky feel to them. I've researched this and it appears to be when the rubberised soft touch coating starts to degrade. Has anybody else experienced this and if so have you done anything to sort it?
