I ended up sleeping in a barn at that social and there was someone living in the caravan in the barn
They must of been terrified lol

2005 for me, time flys eh!
Went to a couple of socials at Willow Park and Wyreside, all a good crack. A a few nights in Belgium
Also one slide show (Jim Shelley?) at a pub in Shropshire I think. We all bivvied up in the field next to the pub.

I bust my foot at Broadlands and had to drive home too!

The fish were going mental in summer bay at horseshoe. Me and Carpman Conway ended up fishing right up the top of the lake a million miles walk from the club house either way we went 😂
Good times in the early year socials. Should definitely try and get one organised again when we can for old times sake

I can't remember the lads name I fished with at Horseshoe, cockney fella who worked on the meat markets. Good lad. We were sat there waiting for the draw, watching loads of Carp head and shoulder over the far side and nobody else seemed to notice We managed to get over there and had a few between us.

2003 for me. Did a few socials including Farlows (followed you down Heathrow, absolutely cracking bacon sarnie you made me!). Horseshoe, Cromwell, somewhere else I can't remember (Stef had a realtree onesie I remember that and La Botte.
Still in touch with Nigel (Mingmong is anyone remembers him) but I mainly fish for Barbel these days after quite a while out of the sport.

I think I went to three socials – Lyn le Gores, Cromwell and Merrington off memory.
Was there ever one at that place near St Michaels? As I remember Stu Litvinski catching a 40lb+ Catfish on imitation Bread there and winning a prize off Vision Baits ?
