George has earned his rest. He carried funk on his shoulders for a loooohg time. Another gig I'm jealous of.
Definitely going to find more of Nikka. Anyone who Prince championed is ok by me.

That whole 'Rats' album is top notch George Clinton even pops up on it) - criminal that she wasn't a bigger success when you think of some of the weak warblers that have been.
Always loved that Sam Brown track
And Nikka Costa.... hooooo! wow! thankyou for that one

glad you're back mate
nil illigitimi desperandum (probably incorrect latin but you can likely work it out...)
If you like your singers bluesy and ballsy....
Sass Jordan - her 'Rats' album was brilliant and featured the amazing Stevie salas on guitar so all good for me
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sdk8JThY-Aw&list=PLBuufcxz5F6Ns_NrhdNRzYYuav4DdFVIX - pissin down
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myXZSAQ_unY&list=PLBuufcxz5F6Ns_NrhdNRzYYuav4DdFVIX&index=2 - high road easy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqFzgp4wOqY&list=PLBuufcxz5F6Ns_NrhdNRzYYuav4DdFVIX&index=13 - sun's gonna rise (bit more mellow this one) great summer song if the sun ever comes back!
