Hi both, we visited your lake several years ago before you had taken over, how do we make contact now for booking enquiries?

I came in around 2017 I believe it was , potentially before . We had issues with the dogs . I think they were new at the time. I had to barricade myself on the spit on D2 to stop the dogs from getting to my dog .

No idea who was in charge back then

Hi guys
As you all know Andy and I have had lake desire since 2020 so we are just clearing a few things up that have been said maliciously that are out and out lies.
We at lake desire have not had a fish kill
We at lake desire do not have dogs that attack anyone’s dogs
We at lake desire have never allowed clients to bring pets
We at lake desire do use blue dye which does not harm the carp and helps prevent weed growth
As for the owner being a plonker shame your profile is hidden by nickname and not your real profile very sad
Andy and 1 have always been honest with anything that goes on at the lake to us it looks like a very jealous person or someone with a grudge against us so I suggest you grow some balls and out yourself as it’s very sad.
Glory days past tense lol the best is yet to come
And to all our regulars and our new guys we hope this clarifys everything if you have a problem gives us a call
Many thanks
Nicola & Andy 🐟🎣🐟🎣

Not sure if there was a fish kill? That was the posters first ever post and looks suspiciously bitter

I can only presume the same dog , I went to the small lake a while back with my wife and dog . The dog came over and attacked my dog . We had to stay on guard the rest of the time after that . Ruined it tbh

Sorry no up to date info but for what its worth
I went about 5 years ago. The water was a blue colour caused by a weed killing chemical, unusual but not a problem.
No chats at all.
Food was ok.
Bailiff told everyone to use a baitboat and not to cast, I found that irritating.
They were fussy about keeping the prim and proper.
There was a dog that chased you if you ran to your rods
Best swims were on the point
Great lake for a social with the firepit and wooden gazebo.
Overall I enjoyed it

Last time i went there it was full of chats. We literally filled a dustbin with them over a week. The chicken was funny tho and the firepit area is good for a social.

Unfortunately far from its glory days. Big fish kill and the owner is a bit of a plonker. From it being our regular social, I’ll never go back.
Hope you catch a few though!
