I never even knew this was a thing.....I have to get one...immediately!

Could they also be used for taking a hook bait out of a pot of glug without getting yer fingers all yucky🤔

One of the most used and versatile bits of kit i carry is a 7x8ft Dpm army tarp ,I use it a lot
Barrow cover
Skull cap for 100t
Porch for Banshee 200 pro, when cyclo fishing ,or wildish camping

Came in handy when my roof sprung a leak as well ,

Can't beat a army tarp ,plus if you die,you can be carried safely to be disposed of ,as it has built in carry handles for such a scenario...😉

I have not had one break yet but am expecting it every time I use them! I keep half a dozen spares in the depths of the ruck sack for just such an eventuality.

I also use them at work (chef) for securing open food packets etc. One of the girls is petrified of them...doesn't like "the way they look or move!" ffs! 🤔

Rubber cable ties to hold made up rods together…cheap as chips

Used those for a couple of years to keep our camping tent guy ropes tidy, they're o.k but forever breaking. I'm still on the search for better ones. like reusable cable ties. We bought velco typre...not the best idea, rip the rope to bits 🤔

As the title says…things I find handy for my angling that don’t come from a tackle shop.
This first aid bag is handy for all my carp care kit, Propolis, forceps etc. I also keep some tic removers in here

Garden kneeler…cost me a quid from the garden centre. Light enough to take stalking, handy if I am fishing off the barrow and am tying a rig with the tackle box on the ground next to me. Also, handy if I have to lean over the bed chair and reach for something in the back of the bivvy, especially on gravelly or wet banks.

Posh tic remover kit…everyone should have one.

Decent adjustable guy ropes from the camping shop
Cheap tic remover…keep in the car

£1.80 builders bucket…fantastic for knocking up a method mix or glugging boilies

Rubber cable ties to hold made up rods together…cheap as chips

Elasticated bands..I use these for holding reels together when rods are attached to a quiver.
Camping poncho..on chilly mornings this is mind-blowingly warm and cosy…well worth looking a complete plum for.

😎😎
