£45 for a tub of pop ups... I want them to suck and **** me for that money!.. just had a look at bait rooms site. Some look great. But 45 squid for some of them which are just a decent pop up nothing more, is not on in my opinion. But dont knock people who buy them. Some poeple got money you know... if I was earning more I probably would buy them. Just cant justify it personally. I know people who eat 50 quid fillet steaks every day because why not.. just not sustainable for me
23 quid a pot for specialized... from what I've seen from him on here on his operation is an absolute bargain compared to baitroom. Can see why they are so popular.

I only use baitroom, stogleman and specialised hookbaits

How do you decide which one to use? I'm trying to cut my Specialised collection down to just one of each colour (a pink, white, yellow and OG) in balanced and popups and that's too many!

Confidence in a hookbait doesn't have a price..
Literally had this conversation with my mate last week.
He just got more hookbaits at 45 a tub. But he catches on it and has done for years. Why bother changing

I wouldnt want to go fishing without pots of baitroom baits. Since using them ive seen a huge difference. For about 5 years every single big fish from my syndicate came on baitrooms. Nothing else came close. I only use baitroom, stogleman and specialised hookbaits. I wouldnt even think about using anything else.
I cant understand why people think a hookbait isnt worth £1 but a reel is worth £600.. which one catches fish?
£45 for 60 baits... if i catch more than one fish over 35lb using that pot I deem it worth it. If I catch a few fish over 35lb then how can that not be worth £45? Especially if ibe gone through 20kikos of bait in a session. You start adding up how much everything costs youll find £45 is a drop in the ocean so to speak..

Sonubaits,, korum,, avid, Preston innovations all were Dave's brands. I've known Dave for 40 years he's a very clever bloke and a fantastic carp angler to boot.. I've no doubt they will be decent baits and will catch a few.

He's a very shrewd businessman and has his name to arguably the biggest match fishing brand in the world, amongst other very successful companies. This is however, IMO, complete toilet. Fjuka baits, at least the match baits I've seen, are very poor and they never seem to be taken very seriously. I highly doubt these will last....

This video made me cringe! Barely legal? What is he, the Jimmy Saville of hook baits?
Claims that his baits have caused him problems with other bait companies.😂
What a load of nonsense! However, I guess the proof will be in the pudding.

I watched this recently and the term "legend in his own mind" was my first thought.

He basically gassed about a lot of nothing and presented nothing new or revolutionary except for the name of a wonder product that he didn't elaborate on at all to justify calling it that. Nor did he prove that the claim the entire bait industry are trying to get him banned.

Best of luck to him, will be taking some solid proof to get me to look again.

I see David Preston is entering the hook bait market with Barely Legal. Not the best at presenting imo, and not sure why it's revolutionary, but good luck to him.

The baits have (supposedly) been tested against the tester’s best hookbaits and have out-fished them pretty much every time. Would like to see one go up against a specialized hookbait.. bet they haven’t though.

Anyone who doesn’t agree with him or questions them is instantly blocked on his Facebook 😂
