In reply to Post #78 Both don't need to. They cater for anglers of a certain age who like what they like. The same goes with many tackle companies who have a loyal fanbase that won't be swayed by the next big thing....
That's exactly why they need to, especially Nutrabaits, at least Mainline have a fingers in the match scene

In reply to Post #82 Your right, that's probably all he needs to be fair. And where he's living in Spain he could probably dig or grow his own..

The guy is a top class film maker. I've no idea what the likes of Nash pay him, but if it's only free bait, I don't see why he would need to sell his soul for a couple hundred quid of bait. Sack of Tigers would cover most of his fishing I've watched. Realistically he could be dealing with Netflix, or high end production houses, not pissing about with bait and tackle brands.

In reply to Post #79 Yes I'm aware, it was more a comment about the type of film Samir makes, I think it might suit Dynamite

Is he leaving because he wants to? Or has his hand been forced? Wouldn't surprise if Nash with the closure of the bait side of things were cutting back on there sponsored anglers. He's probably got all the tackle he will ever need. But you do need bait. And with the amount he probably uses. He'll need a sponsor sharpish.. But good luck to him and the Mrs. He does put out some cracking content.

The announcement is that he is leaving or has left Nash, something else coming......

If he does go to another bait firm it's got to be DNA for me, unless one of the older firms like Nutrabaits or Mainline fancy it. Tbh, I dont see why either haven't raised their media presence in this day and age.
Given the films Terry makes maybe even Dynamite...guess we'll see hmm.

In reply to Post #68 Part 1 was ok, but part 2 was brilliant, usually these collabs with unknown anglers are pretty cringe but that big bearded lad was excellent on screen.
