Thanks for the replies, I had a sp c-tech bedchair delivered but it's quite uncomfortable for me, the fold in the base was quite deep and the bump up to the flat area of the head end was digging right in to my ribs when laying on my side. I did crack some ribs here years ago so that will be it, probably not a big issue otherwise.
It also had a bit of metal rattling around the inside of one of the legs.
I picked up a sleep system now which has a much flatter mattress, the tackle shop said they didn't think I'll need to swap to the Trakker 365, so we shall see when the cold bit comes!
I'm also returning the Trakker 365 camo I got, looks like a Friday job with loose bits ot thread all over it and the inner white hollowfill is poking through around the head area.
Solar and Trakker both need better quality control, two top tier items and they are both faulty
The trakker 365 does fold up acceptably in the bed but not tried the system bed with it yet.
I didn't even consider the Fortis Techlite, had one on my compact bed and found it cold, too small and can't leave it unzipped cos it falls off in the night

Had the mk1 SP C-TECH with the Fortis techlite and hated it. The bag didn’t fit the bed very well, could have done with a middle strap to help hold it in place, if I got a run in the night I struggled with undoing the zip because there was nothing in the middle to help keep the zip straight, I ended up trying to sleep with the zip undone in the middle of winter because I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get out of it quickly enough. So I sold both and got the mk2 sleep system and am very happy with it.
God knows how the techlite would be any good on the wider mk2.

I've got the 365 on a Solar Dura Dore, fits well, proper comfortable. Folds fine without the liner, not quite flat with it.
Surprised about the "isn't being warm in 5-6 deg" comment as I'm normally in shorts and t-shirt, or when really cold trakkie bottoms and maybe a hoodie. I've not got a lot of extra insulation these days either! I do use a groundsheet in the winter, especially when it's wet, which can stop a lot of the dampness tho.

not the 365 but I have fox ventec as on mine and its bloody fantastic...warmest bag ive had

I can confirm the bag isn't very warm in colder weather. I too have been cold in temperatures around 5-6 degrees.

I have the sleep system and never been cold, even in minus temps I chuck out the hot water bottle as gets too warm for me, I also normally prefer seperate bags but the sleep system bag has loads of room, I normally only use the top layer zipped on the bag in jan/feb

Please can anyone tried a trakker 365 on the solar mk2 bed comment on how well it fits and how it folds up if the bag is left on there?
I would have gone for the sleep system but there are quite a few reports of it being cold even in 4 to 5c or so

I have the standard bedchair with Techlite and the newer sleep system. Whilst I like the techlite and bedchair with Korda cover, it’s nowhere near as comfortable as the sleep system. I also couple the standard bedchair with a SIM, that makes a noticeable difference.

Following.
Really like the look of this bed having laid on my mates sleep system version at the weekend. I don't like sleep systems and much prefer a separate bag but I too have the Fortis Techlite so the comments about it being a tight fit are a bit concerning.
From what I can see the dimensions are 208x90 for the bed and the bag is 210x95 so not much to play with there! Also with the head end of the bed having a double leg system does the sleeve at that end of the bag fit properly?

Am I correct in thinking that u can remove the middle layer a zip the top waterproof layer onto the bed?

Agree with that. Even the biggest version is far to small. It would still pack down small even in a wide version due to the nature of the filling.

Fortis need to bring out a wider bag to keep up with the current 'massive bedchair' fixation . . .although it does defeat the object of having a mega lightweight bag . . .

I have been debating this exact same thing. I have the standard fortis bag which is a really tight (too tight really) fit on my original fox flatliner. The top and bottom hoods are stretched really tight to fit over and feel I’m always about to rip the bag. The mk2 solar sp seems to be about the same size as the fox so don’t want to repeat the issue. I’ve never fancied a sleep system as like to remove the bag and air it. I’m a sweaty git!
Thing is I really like the fortis bag but it is the main thing limiting bed choice, so may have to forego it.
I would like to upgrade my bedchair now as I’ve had it a long time and not sure what to do other than go for the full system. The new fox Flatliner looks good too but I thought seemed a bit too long and will be tight fit in the various shelters I have.
I will be interested in what you end up doing.
